Meet The Team

Jen was born in Philadelphia, but she and her family moved to Lancaster County and settled in the Quarryville area when she was eight years old. She enjoyed growing up in southern Lancaster County, where she attended Solanco High School. She has a degree in equine science from Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, PA, and she teaches and trains horses on the side in Leola at Flying M Stables.

Jen has a strong customer service background and worked in an orthodontic office where she provided administrative support. She enjoys working in dentistry and loves making all our patients feel like they are at home when they visit our office. She cannot wait to meet you at your next visit!

When not in the office, she devotes as much time as she can with her boyfriend, Jayme and her children Savannah and Trey, and Jayme’s daughter, Maleya. They have two rescue dogs, Abby and Skyler. Abby is a chihuahua/shiba inu mix and Skyler is a chihuahua/jack russell mix. Jen also loves spending time with extended family and friends and, of course, anytime she can get on the back of a horse is always welcome! She appreciates quality Japanese food and also loves a good pizza pie! They have a built-in vacation spot since her dad lives in North Myrtle Beach. However, she also welcomes the opportunity to explore as many new places as possible.

Shanna pursued her Registered Dental Hygienist degree at Harrisburg Area Community College and graduated with honors. She is currently a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists’ Association, and the Southeast Component. She is committed to giving back to the community and has volunteered to provide dental care for underserved families, advocating to expand access to dental care.

Shanna is grateful to have the opportunity to work in such a positive, patient-oriented practice. As a clinician, she values life-long learning and focuses on utilizing the most current, evidence-based standard of care with an emphasis on the oral-systemic link. She is committed to educating and motivating patients to achieve the best possible results in a kind, compassionate and gentle manner. In her spare time, Shanna enjoys kayaking, hiking, biking, traveling and spending time with her family. She resides in Ephrata with her husband, enjoying each day they are blessed to spend together.
