Dr. Marc Moyer

Dr. Marc Moyer grew up in nearby Berks County. After graduating from Exeter Township High School in 1995, he completed his bachelors degree in Biology from The University of Scranton in 1999. A relatively chance encounter with the Dean of Admissions from Temple University School of Dentistry ignited his desire to pursue a career in dentistry as well as attend Temple University in Philadelphia. Having graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2003 and with a desire to learn more complicated procedures in the field, Dr. Moyer pursued a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in 2004. Having finished his formal training, Dr. Moyer set out to broaden his knowledge in the various disciplines of dentistry and spent two years in Dallas, Texas before moving back to the northeast and settling in Philadelphia. Upon beginning a family in 2013, Dr. Moyer returned home to the Berks and Lancaster County areas to reside and work.
Although he is fond of all aspects of dentistry, his favorite things are seeing patients' reactions when they are happy with their new smile and also taking people out of discomfort. He prides himself in his confidence with root canals and oral surgery as well as pain diagnosis. Dr. Moyer enjoys taking various courses pertaining to esthetic dentistry, implants, endodontics, oral surgery and restorative dentistry. He is a long standing member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and Pennsylvania Dental Association. When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Moyer enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is a devoted father to his three children, Adalyn, Lincoln and Everly. Adalyn, who is autistic, loves nature, and is always excited for a trip to the mountains or beach. Everly loves going to museums and restaurants. With Lincoln, Dr. Moyer loves playing sports and going to sporting events, especially to cheer on their beloved Philadelphia Eagles. GO BIRDS!
